Male or female?

I have some baby chicks I bought from the store not sure how old they are but 1 has some tail feathers I was wondering how do u tell if there a male or female?

Feather sexing. The males with have secondary feathers which are all the same length and the females will have two lengths.

feather seeing only works for chick's bred specifically for this trait, and even then it only works the first few days after they hatch.

Unless you have a sex link, you will not be able to tell the gender until later.

Yes, I agree with you. Last year we couldn`t know either they are male or female until the 5th month.

Maybe I`m not so experienced, so I can`t find out if they are male or female. I was said that it could be analyzed in the second month, if you are experienced in this subject, unfortuanately, I`m not.
