male or female?

The eggs would already be fertilized wouldn't they? If he is in with girls and he is a juvenile so that makes him a teenage boy and we all know what most if them are like, than that means he has already been with the girls, and the eggs are already fertilized!
 
Yeah!! Now the question is. ... will he try to cross breed with my other chickens? Or just stay with his own kind?

Roosters couldn't care less what breed or size a hen/pullet is he will attempt to breed them. I have a rooster that is as big as a basketball and the other day I saw him trying to mount a pullet the size of a softball... they are also different breeds. That is definitely a cockerel, spurs can take a long time to develop.
