Male pilgrim weight

So at vet this weekend and got to weigh Louie. He only weighs 11 pounds. He's 2 years old. Is that full grown? Should he be more like 15 pounds?

He may have lost weight due to his abscess poor thing probably didn't feel much like eating. What are you feeding them? You could add some whole corn as an afternoon treat now that the cold weather is here. That will help put on some needed weight plus help keep them warmer over night.

Oh he never stopped eating! Always has had a voracious appetite. We always give them corn on the cob and other vegetables. Elsa loves apples too. We are with them all the time so size wise he actually seems bigger since we got them.

We also feed, all flock, waterfowl feed (not in water), scratch, and they graze on 2 acres all day. The struggle is real between the hens and geese.

Okay well good just because he isn’t 15 lb yet doesn’t mean he won’t eventually be there. I thought you were worried about his weight.

I am wondering. I figured 2 years was full grown but he's not at 15 pounds and eats just fine.
