Male to female ratio with New World quails?

Can somebody please tell me the male to female ratio of New World quails? I have five female coturnix quail and one coturnix male. I want to start raising new world quails.

What would the ratio be for bobwhites and valley quails?

1:1 ratio. If you have a very large aviary, you can run 5 males to about 25 females...but there may be fighting even under those conditions. It's best to have pairs with any of the New World quails. Again, if you have a large aviary, you can have several pairs in the aviary.
