:( it’s been a long tough ride. His actual mate Ivy died from an insanely random sickness/ disease as well over 6 months ago. I never knew what happened to that blue slate hen but it broke my heart, and now it’s happened to him. It’s only 20$? And what do I do, just bring his body and what will they do/ tell me? Or do with his body after
If you take his body their today they will have a preliminary report by the end of the day.

Cost is $20 for 1-2 birds.

They perform the gross necropsy the day they receive them and they send off tissue samples and swabs for histopathology, cultures, sensitivities, etc. Depending on what tests have been done, final report takes 1-2 weeks.

Knowing what he died from will help you treat any other birds that get sick, so please do take him.

Pretty sure they take drop offs, but call first.

They will dispose of his body.

Okay. He is buried rn and has been since this morning so almost 10 hours. I would have to wait until my boyfriend gets back and have him take me over with it. But I’m not sure when he’s going to be back from the coast. :/ would it even be good by then

If I were you I would get a shovel, dig, place body in bag, place bagged body in refrigerator or ice chest. If you can't take him today, take him tomorrow.

Okay.. I’m not sure that I will be able to bring him and if I can’t its really gonna suck :( an emergency happened at the coast and I’m trying to figure out with he’s gonna be back here. But I’m glad my boys not suffering, and still months later no one else is showing his symptoms which is insane :/
