Male Turkey

So one of my teachers has a male turkey, but he lays on eggs. She writes " Our male turkey is sitting on our two female turkeys' eggs."
I've tried to do some research myself but have found nothing.

Seems a few have had similar experiences. Sounds normal, he’s showing them where to nest or having a go himself.
