Males or females? How to tell a Leghorn rooster from a hen?

I sure appreciate all of your help. We actually took home these babies after my daughters class hatched them last April!!! Been so fun & just got our first eggs. We are just nervous about the crowing, due to our neighbors.

Yes, those do look female.

I got the WLH because they told me she would start laying at 16 week. We are at 22 weeks and no eggs yet. Heard 1 practice song out of her.

Girls can grow spurs as well, even if it isn't as common. And I recently read about a hen who started crowing when loosing her mate.

All I can say is mo matter how much we might like to fit them into nice little stereo types, they all are individuals. My BO that is supposed to be slow maturing is laying before the leghorn, just for example.

what is the little black bird? It looks like a cockerel from what I can see. Could be your crower. All the Leghorns are pullets.

I also agree the look about 4 months old, the combs will get bigger, and flop a bit over, and get really red right b4 they start laying. I don't know how it works, but mine didn't even consider laying eggs till she saw the false eggs in the nest box, and within a week she started, and she was about 5 months old
