Malformed toe

Hi. I have a baby chick that was born with one of its toes growing from the center of its foot pad. It was born with this abnormality. It can’t walk on that foot because it’s basically walking on the toe joint and full toe. It hops on one leg. It has learned to prop that foot up on the side of the food and water dish to keep its balance while eating and drinking but I feel so bad for it! Any info about this deformity would be appreciated.

Post some pictures of different angles of the foot for us, please.

Is it a surplus toe or one of her four toes malpositioned?
