Maline Hens Wanted

Hello,
We are in the Cariboo region of BC and have a large Belgian Maline rooster in need of a few hens.

Our goal is to breed heritage birds but the Malines still can be rare and hard to find. If you have access to or know of where we can find purebred Malines, in Western Canada - please let us know.

Ooh I’ve heard of Malines. I don’t own any but have always wanted some.

There seem to be plenty places in Canada with them, east and west. It’s stateside where they can’t e gotten without paying $60 for a day old srraight run chick.

Did you have success in locating chicks? We took a straight run, but ended up getting only two hens. We’re looking to expand this year and I’m curious whether you sell chicks, or can give us a lead. We’re in the Okanagan.
