Hey, I have a ton of chickens, banties, ducks, and geese. I know this is a chicken website, but my male mallard duck is bullying my old goose (she's been around about 10 years...) and i want it to stop. any ideas that doesn't involve putting down or getting rid of my duck?

Is the drake the only duck you have? If so get him some girls for company and he should leave poor mother goose alone.

Alright

BYC has a very useful learning center

I separate my geese and ducks in the day time but I have no idea
how much room you have but I have fencing to separate them and
at night they all go in to a 30 foot X 50 foot area to sleep for the
night and everything works out .....

Good luck with your poultry raising adventures, and I hope you find everything you need to know. Don't forget to take a look at BYC's very useful learning center (If you haven't already)! The learning center as well as the forum should answer your questions! Glad to have you here! Try putting them in cages next to each other so that they can get used to seeing each other for a while.

Welcome to BYC!

Kelsie X2. I don't know anything about ducks or geese, so you will want to post this question in the ducks and or geese section for more info. In the mean time, remove the bully to a separate area.

Good luck with your birds and welcome to our flock!
