Mallard Duck Help

:welcome Why don't you think the eggs are viable?
Earlier this week, one of the eggs looked as if pipping had occurred but no further action. The eggs also seem to be getting darker.

Hi, Welcome to BYC! I would remove the eggs, she will not lay another clutch until those eggs are gone. Make sure you are at a safe distance when you smash them. This happens to them in the wild when a coon gets the eggs, most often they will lay another clutch. I have had my mallards lay three clutches in one season. :love
