Mallard ducklings question

Pics
Just looked up mini Appleyard and mine don't look like any of those.

A small bantam breed of Duck and the Drakes have green heads like a Mallard but have white bodies with spots if brown ...The Ducklings are yellow with dark points on the tail and the head and faint eye stripes...

What I mean is if anything is crossed in with your breeding birds a few breedings back?...Sure your Birds
Look like pure Mallards but could have hidden breeds in their genes..that could be why your getting yellow Ducklings.....

The Muscovy Duck can be crossed with mallards to create a hybrid known as Mulard, but to be honest, the Muscovy aren't very keen on breeding with Mallard-types. Additionally, the offspring is a mule duck because Muscovy are a different species of waterfowl. This outcross, Mulard, are mostly raised for their meat and they grow fast like mallard-type ducks but much larger like the Muscovy. Interestingly, Muscovy are cross-bred in Israel with Mallards to produce kosher ducks.

She can explain colours and genetics better than anybody....

Mallards are not sexable by bill color at hatch, just fyi...

They could be Mulards, when other breeds are in the same area with access to each other, that is always a possibility...

But do those ducklings look like this?
