Mallard Ducklings

I have 2 Mallard ducks hatched April 18. They have similar feather patterns, but different behavior. One is smaller and quite vocal. The other one is quiet and more independent. How long before I can tell if they are hens or Drakes?

It sounds to me like you have a pair. Hens will have a loud quack while drakes are quite raspy.

X2 are they fully feathered a drakes tail will curl at the end
