Mallard Ducks Pairs!

I was interested in gettting a pair of mallard ducks for pets. I don't have a huge budget right now so I need some suggestions for housing and making them a little pond. I have a horse barn and the chickens have their own stall and a huge run but I heard ducks like to sleep outside. Thoughts??

My ducks like to sleep inside - in fact, they go in every night after free ranging in the yard. They share a two-story coop with my chickens and everyone gets along just fine
