I'm relatively new to ducks so most of my questions have been answered by this site. That being said I'm having difficulty answering some questions I have. First my girls were hatched on or near February 24th and wondering why I don't have any eggs yet and wondering how to help them nest (ie. Materials)

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

I don't know anything about ducks. Mountain Peeps has left you with the link to our ducks section. Those Duck experts should be able to help you there. Welcome to our flock!

One of them is and she isn't sitting on the eggs

don't know how it is with ducks but, broody chicken hens will lay a certain number of eggs before they decide to sit on them. Are you sure the others are female If they don't have a drake around they will not produce fertile eggs that can be hatched.

There is no male here but they spent a few days with some right before she started laying

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. Mountain Peeps has given you a good link to our duck experts. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
