TBH - I'm not sure if its a mallard or a rouen, but shes tiny. Also not sure that shes a SHE - help???





She is starting to get her blue feathers on her wings.

Bonus points for anyone who can tell me what the mystery duck is beside her too haha

Kind of hard to see I know... but any guesses if she is a Mallard or a Rouen?

Not a Rouen, way to small and slim... I'd say Mallard, just can't tell quality from those... could be hatchery or not... jmo...

Does she quack loud or raspy whaaap-whaaap-whaaap? Raspy is boy, loud quacking is girl... one behind her looks like blue fawn color...

He/she is a Mallard. Mallards have one black stripe, and Rouens have two black stripes.

For a true, pure mallard other colors are rare... could be a hatchery type though... blue fawn is also called blue mallard as it is the base wild type color (mallard/called grey in other breeds) with just 1 blue gene added...

Shes not much of a talker lol, she still kinda peeps. Shes a clown though, she goes nuts in the pool where the others are more chill and content
