I keep putting small drops of water on my fingers and dropping its down its throat but if its going down i dont know.... I have a strong feeling its not going to make it through the night..

if you have poultry nutri drench it can be given full strength being very careful it goes down throat and not into lungs. I dribble along bill instead of try to force anything down the throat. Keeping it warm and hydrated is about all you can do other than the nutri Drench.

Thanks for everyone’s help, but i have some sad news unfortunately it didn’t make it though the night.. but looking forward i still have 3 healthy ones to look after and they are growing nicely..

I have a question... my Mallard drake, who is about a year old has lost the green on his head. Is that normal or could that indicate some kind of issue?
Thank you!

He probably is in his eclipse plumage. If he looks like a female, it is only temporary. Our mallard drakes molted at different times, but they eventually look like ducks and then drakes again. They even lose their curl feather. Has your drake lost his curl feather too?

His feathers are dropping or it's changing color? If he's dropping feathers, now is right about time for moulting (our goose is doing it, her wings look pathetic! Lol)

My baby boy is getting his big boy feathers! He also took 3 ducklings from the feed store under his wing, 1 was sold, 1 predator gotten, the last is a little girl. I'm hoping that'll be his favorite girl, so ill have a mallard breeding pair. Yay!
Blah, uploading pics isn't working so I can't show ya D: but he also got his first drake feather!
