MALLARD THREAD...not rouens, Mallards!

Got my first duck egg today!

what kind of duck egg is that

It's the greenish one from my mallard. The brown one was just for comparison.

So wild mallards lay brown eggs and tamed mallards lay green eggs sweet can I see your mallards

I know the one brown one was a chicken egg I know that mallards in yge wild lay brownish white eggs so the blend in and know I know farm raised mallards lay green eggs

We have two ducks that are 4 1/2 months old, and ONE of them finally just laid their very first egg on Sunday. One is a mallard and the other seems to be a blue swedish. Can anyone tell me which duck this egg belongs to? It's smaller than any chicken eggs we get from our hen and way smaller than a pekin egg.

Looks like my mallard egg, but mine was large. Bigger than my chicken eggs. She just laid her first egg and she is well over 6 months old.
