I have never clipped my mallards wings and they don't ever leave. I think if you provide food, water and shelter they will stick around.Hey guys how can I stop my ducks from flying away without clipping their wings or keeping them in a pen? Is there any way?
awee what an awesome group LOL
Here's a picture of my little mallard Taffy! She's the only mallard in my flock.
I purchased some Welsh Harlequins and Khaki Campbells and picked them up from the feed store. The next week I went back to get something or another, and there she was, sitting all alone in the chick bin... The person who paid for her/him never came to pick her/him up, so of course I couldn't leave her/him. So now she has a happy family amongst the rest of my ducks!
WHERE? WHERE? I don't see them??? PICS???I just got 2 crested mallards!
OMG, how precious.. LOL
NICE SET UPWe have 3 Rouens and a Pekin they are 4 weeks old now. We don't know if they are male or female yet, only one has started qacking.[/URL]
