mallord duck owners

If you cut the primary feathers on one wing they will not be able to take flight, but mine can still get up high enough to get away from overzealous hounds (usually when I throw the ball to close - my bad

I have 4 mallards the 2 boys are brothers then I got a mother and daughter...The boys are very tame the girls are a whole different story..and a long one!!!

Mine(2) @ 4 weeks seem to be skittish still. Makes for a pain when I'm trying to round them up to bring them in at night. They love greens. I have found that to be the best way to their hearts yet.
 
I guess "worms" in general will work. I like the dehydrated mealworms because they stay good for a very long time (at least a year) and they are very convenient. Unfortunately, they are expensive, but if used sparingly they go a long way.
