Anyone who has used the heating pad for ducklings- do you do any extra wrapping on the heating pad to keep it dry? I've brooded them w a heat lamp before but haven't tried the heating pad w them. Just know how messy ducklings are and just wondered what others had tried. I love the heating pad for the chicks I've brooded.

I presume you don't plan to have water for the ducklings on top of the MHP cave

I don't suppose the ducklings would carry any significant amount of water onto the MHP though never having had ducks of any age I could be really wrong.

The ones I've brooded before seem to take pleasure in dragging all the water out of their watering font & turning their brooder into a swamp- almost daily.
