My hens chicks (2) are 8 weeks old and she is chasing them now whenever they get close to her. Is this normal ? Is it part of weaning them off her? One of the chicks is starting to stress out I think because she is pulling out her feathers around her neck.. Shall I just separate the chicks from the mother ? Thank you

Normal.
Broody raising chicks is supposed to be easier than hatching/integrating,
but this phase is a PITA.

Do you have other chickens?
How big is your coop and run, in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics would help here.
