Poor Daisy...outta five eggs, one was eaten by a coopmate, one was rotten (just buried it as it smelled to high heaven) and another was well on its way to rotten (as it was beginning to reak as well)....now she is down to two. My question is do the eggs begin to get lighter as the hatch date gets closer? I left the two lightweight eggs in the nest for her. Also, should I change the nest material after the rotten egg to prevent the bacterial transfer to the two remaining eggs? I am trying to let her do it on her own, but the anticipation is killing me!!!
