This was my first chick to hatch last Saturday. It's a little blue bantam cochin. It's the friendliest out of them all, running up to my hand when I go to talk to them, feed them, or whatever, sometime trying to jump on it. It will jump into my palm and just sit there calmly until I set in the box again. I decided to take it out and let it sit with me here at the desk to see what it would do...if it would try to entertain itself or start peeping it's head off. It did neither, but has fallen asleep as I type this. I've been moving around sort of, and it's not even caring, kind of like a cat or dog. I wonder if I don't have a house bird now?
