We had a duck attacked sometime Fri night. We thought that maybe it was a coon since he was able to escape. When we first discovered him i thought he could be saved until we flipped him over and could see his insides

. So needless to say we had to put him out of his misery then watch his two buddies search for him the whole day long. Very sad.

Then today I see this cold blooded, aprox 3-4 foot long alligator cruising around our pond!!!! so like the title says Mama is getting a new pair of shoes!

I'll try to catch some pics of him tomorrow.

I'll stick to my fox, coons, cats, and dogs thank you!

That is one predator that we certainly don't have to deal with!! I don't even know where to start! LOL How does one deal with a naughty gator? Fence the pond? Fence the ducks?

Bait the gator up on shore with some food and introduce it to a gun? How big of a gun do you need to take out a gator before it gets back to the water?

Now I'm curious!!

Have you ever had fried alligator!?!?! It tastes like fried chicken!

I know what I would do with that gator, if he was getting my ducks....

When my oldest son lived in Ponchatoula LA he was losing one to two runner ducks each week. After losing 12 or so he discovered a 4' gator living in the small stream that flowed through his property.
