Mamma died

My mamma hen died last night and she really never integrated the her 10 week old baby into the flock. They are not accepting her. She has been crying, so sad and she is sitting on my back door step. The other chickens have left her and I don't know what to do.
Sorry for your loss. Poor mom.. and youngster.
A 10 week old pullet that was a lone hatch will not be fully accepted into the flock until she reaches sexual maturity.
Are the flock members actively attacking her?
Does she have hiding places to go to during the day?
Does it roost in the coop with the flock?
I will take time for full integration.

Can you find a another pullet about her age so that she has a buddy? Then they can integrate together with the flock when they get a bit older perhaps.😊

I worry about my rooster, he's old but still has memories of being a randy young rooster. She's staying close to tthe house. The chickens roost on my tack room, no coop. She was going up there, but I think she sensed her momma wasn't well and came back down. Hopefully she will go up with them tonight. They are free range. I've had house chickens before but she is too timid to let me get close to her. I only have 4 hens left including her.
