Dan

9 of the chicks are standing up and walking/stumbling around the nest. I noticed that one chick was laid out on it's belly with one leg sticking out. It's still breathing and peeping but doesn't see to be able to stand up. I'm not sure if he was the last to hatch and still tired or if there is something wrong. I'll keep you all posted. Hopefully he's just worn out from today.

depending on how freshly hatched they are they may not get the full use of their legs for the first couple of days. i thought one of my recent hatcher's may have sprattle leg but it quickly cleared itself up in a day once moma let him/her out to run around looking for food and water.

Congrats Dan! That sounds like a PERFECT hatch! Did you even lose 1?

I'm due to hatch this weekend, fingers crossed. It has been a rough one, so I'm holding my breath.
