managing multiple roosters?

I have two Sumatra Roosters and they hang out together and mind their own business.
I have a Millie Fleur Rooster he is over sexed and beat the poop out of my rescue rooster but now they have come to a understanding. There is lots of hens to choose from.

I have a Buff Brahma Bantam Rooster and two hens. When I was at work my Husband let all of them out together and the MF and the Rescue Rooter beat him up, he ran into the neighbors yard and is hiding.
I locked up the two roosters and I can hear the BBB Roo crowing from inside a pile of logs.
Can't get to him, too dangerous for a human.

How long do you think it will take before he ventures out and I can grab him?

I know from the strength of the attack they can never run together, he will need a sanctuary with his own ladies.

We have a bachelor pad with 9 Roosters in it currently...they have their pecking order but all get along just as well as hens do together. We have all ages from older and wiser to hormone enraged teens(Spring guys) I don't leave any Roo's with my hens unless they are separated into a breeding pen so my breeds stay pure.I also don't want any hens over bred. A few of them may become dinner but I also have some young and upcoming Roo's still in the toddler pens.

You may want to try and bribe him out. Once it gets dark, he'll be there til tomorrow. Maybe sit out near him with some "treats" to encourage him.

Great discussion! How big of a bachelor pad do you guys recommend for 4-5 roosters? And where should it be located in relation to the hen house/run?

Size is relative to how much room you want them to have although there is some formula about square feet per bird...I'm no good with math.

As for how close to hen house, depends on if you are gonna have a rooster with the hens and they can get to the "bachelor pad"/pen. Roosters will fight through a fence. My guys are all relatively close in the pens, so i have put up tarps between them so they can't see each other.

Those pens are in the backyard which is fenced from the area where my other roo free ranges. They can't get at each other or even see the "free rangers".

I've had this on going battle with my new Rooster for about a month now. He's a crower, and not just morning and night crower, it's all day long, but he's getting better...anyways a whole other topic. But, he attacked my daughter, who is 5....jumped right on her back and I had to throw a rock at him to get him off. Needless to say my daughter isn't allowed in the yard with the rooster unless I'm right with her. She use to love to check for eggs, not anymore. Then just the other day I didn't see it coming, I was minding my own business and he came running up behind me and pecked my on the back of the leg. Now I carry a shovel or broom and if he even tries anything, I won't hesitate to use them. He acts scared of me, when I have weapons.lol...I refuse to have more then one!

All roosters crow all day long. That's normal. People just started to think roosters only crowed in the morning because that's when it's most noticeable, that's when it's shown in the movies, and most people don't have direct experience with chickens anymore. Crowing at night shouldn't happen unless your coop has a lot of light or there is something making noise and stressing the chickens at night. Night crowing is easily solved by turning off any lights in the coop and blocking windows or turning off outside lights. Then the roo should only crow if a predator or something is trying to get in and making noise.
