I have had some bad luck with purchasing pullets that have turned out to be roos this year...
I have 7 roosters and 29 hens along with a Turkey and 2 guineas in the coop. I obviously need to rehome several roosters. I just need some advise on how many and the best to keep. 4 are full size- my speckled Sussex which is a little over a year old. He has been a great protector, although has been a little aggressive toward us. He has been avoiding the flock and not going into the coop at night lately. I haven't seen him fighting with any of the others at all. The other 3 full size are young about 20 weeks. They are Rhode island/SS mix, what was supposed to be a production red and I think a blue andalusian splash.
I have 3 small roosters as well, silkie, cochin, and this very tiny one that I'm unsure of the breed, but I have a matching hen.
I feel like 3 roosters is the most I should have. Does their size or the size of my hens matter at all? Most of my hens are full size except for a polish and the tiny unknown breed. Should I make sure to keep a small rooster for them? I've attached a pic of the unknown roo. The photo bomber is my cochin roo. He isn't very nice to the others.

How big is your coop? Do they stay locked up or free range?
Unless you just want to hatch your own eggs, you don’t need a rooster at all. Unless you have really good roosters, even 2 can be too many. We’ve got close to 70 birds total and only 2 adult roosters. All the hens prefer the company of our 3 year old alpha male. Nobody likes the 1 year old rooster. He is being rehomed soon because he aggravates the hens too much.
We hatch all our own chicks, so we always have extra roosters. Right now we have a couple 4 month old roosters who we are going to keep just to see how they work out.
Last year, before Mardi Gras, we had a total of 9 adult roosters in a flock of over 70 birds and there was not stop trouble. 8 were rehomed and made in to gumbo for Fat Tuesday.
Normally I would say keep the oldest rooster but you say he is being aggressive to you and not wanting to be with the ladies in the coop anyway. So I agree with @aart, as usual. Pick the best one, probably the RIR mix, and get rid of all the others. 1 rooster can keep 30 girls happy.
If you want to keep 2, I’d go with the silkie, since he will be tiny and no threat to the RIR. But again, that’s only if you feel that you have to have a rooster.

Thanks. I was considering keeping one large, the silkie and the tiny guy. They are so small they dont cause much trouble. They are free range and sleep in a large shed converted into a coop at night only. I also like to hatch my eggs and I'm wanting to try to do that more often. I've found that we have had less health issues with them.
I really like the blue andalusian splash roo, but he's just realizing he is a rooster so I'm not sure about his personality yet. Do the small ones still cause trouble?
