My niece has several bantee roosters. To many for the number of hens she has. She wants to know if she can put them all in one coop. Will they get along, somewhat?

I've heard of bachelor flocks, but I think it depends on the roosters you have and where you can put them. I had 4 of mine in one pen together with no issues, but they were all good, friendly roosters who learned their places pretty quickly and I closely monitored for a bit before I let them be. They grew up together as well and had no hens near them to compete over. How old are yours?

No one can give you any guarantees with chicken behaviors as you can tell by reading that thread Aart linked. That is just the way it is with living animals. However, a bachelor pad is a common way to try to solve your niece's problem. It often works. The general rules apply, the more space you have the the more likely it is to work. The less you disrupt the pecking order the less likely it is to be disruptive. I occasionally lock my cockerels in a pen where they can see the females but not get to them. That calms them down. But others report it works better to not allow them to see any females.

I think it is worth a try.
