Mandarin Duck Eggs — Did I Get Scammed?

If you are discussing lawsuits, I really think you should hatch the eggs, or find somewhere that will do a DNA test to prove what species they are (if that is even possible), before you go further with that.

Because at the moment, it works out to:
They say those are eggs from their mandarin ducks
You say mandarin duck eggs could not possibly look like that
They say theirs DO look like that
Thank you, I agree. I won’t have 100% proof these aren’t by some odd chance mandarin eggs until I hatch them out. Unluckily, most have detached air cells or some hairline cracks— but I think I can make it work as long as I follow some guides here.

The seller is 100% full of poop. Those are not Mandarin eggs. They aren't duck eggs at all. I'd doubt the eggs are even fertile. They look very clean and very uniform to me. I'd hazard a guess that they are store-bought eggs or eggs from their Lavender Orpingtons. I know the one I had laid a surprisingly dark egg for an Orpington. Hopefully, something develops in the incubation process and that eBay or PayPal gets you a much-deserved refund.
