Mandarin Duck Eggs — Did I Get Scammed?

Pics
I would crack one open to check if they’re viable, but I might be required to ship them back or something so I’ve been keeping them intact in my incubator.
The sellers posting says they don't accept/offer returns. PayPal is your best bet I think. I can't even remember how PayPal works, isn't it connected to your bank account? If that fails then dispute it with the bank.

If you used a credit card, you could get protest the charge and ask your issuer to process a chargeback. If you do that though, be prepared for Paypal and/or eBay to close your account.

If you are discussing lawsuits, I really think you should hatch the eggs, or find somewhere that will do a DNA test to prove what species they are (if that is even possible), before you go further with that.
Good for a try, but if they are 'smart' scammers they probably sent infertile eggs.

eBay has rejected my second direct appeal after contacting them. I’ve filed an appeal with PayPal now, so hopefully they’ll resolve things for me… If not, I guess all my money is down the drain, because the seller refuses to refund me and is now ignoring me.

apparently someone else has been scammed by this same seller, and they offered to send me some of their mandarin duck eggs next season when they’re laying. this made my day :yesss:

since I’ve confirmed the seller is scamming people, their eBay name is “grandmalulu”. do not purchase any eggs from them!
How did you get a hold of the other person that was scammed?
The eBay seller profile looks to have good reviews. That's too bad they are scamming people. But, eBay is not what it used to be and its easier to do such things.
Have you tried PayPal? Though PayPal is now owned by eBay from my understanding.

I ordered 6 mandarin duck hatching eggs a few days ago. They arrived today, but I’m really confused. They’re dark brown eggs, and Google as well as all the videos I’ve seen of fellow farmers incubating mandarin eggs show them as being white… Did I just buy $300 chicken eggs? :he

Pic below shows the eggs I was sent (the brown ones) compared to eggs collected from my own ducks.
Direct link to where you placed the order?

Please please don't buy eggs from ANYONE in the future unless you have investigated them well.

Find me and I'll do the dirty work for you.
Sorry you got scammed. Don't make the same mistake twice.

Good reviews mean nothing. You can buy good reviews cheaply.

I posted about this in a Facebook group for hatching eggs, so I could be 100% sure before requesting a refund that I didn’t get mandarin eggs.
