I am really having trouble with building an aviary for my mandarin pair. The problem is, my dad doesnt want to spend a fortune on it. I was just wondering if an 8'x8'x8' enclosure would work for one pair. It would be all framed out with treated 2x4's and then covered with heavy duty netting. It would also have a sight barrier at the bottom. I might even run an electric wire around the perimeter...does this sound okay...would they be happy. Also, the top would have a pole to raise the netting higher for more room.
