Mandarin duck question

I’m guessing that these are both males since their bills are red and my other two have bills that are definitely a brownish color ?

Yes, those both appear to be male. The one with the bill changing is just an immature male. Granted I haven't raised them, so Hannah will know for sure, but that's my opinion.

I hatched them from eggs and I have no experience with mandarin. I’m kind of perplexed cause as you can see the one male has all of his colors for I would say three weeks and the other is extremely slow at changing into the beautiful colors. They only hatched two days apart.

Looks like a male but the coloring is off.Mine don't even look like that during molt.
