Hi
I am also from Europe, precisely from Poland. In this year I bred the first males ginger mandarins. At the moment he doesn't have a fixed price. Perhaps there will be one pair for sale. If you are interested write to the email: [email protected]
I have normal, white, blond (ivory), apricot, black, ginger and piebald ( normal white throated, black white throated and ginger white throated) mandarins. I am working still above the golden version.

Peacock: What does the Korean version look like?
Lobo: I'm also curious as to what the Gold version looks like?

With all these different names/colors we need to start a photo comparison chart...

The Korean is like the normal, but the hen has a red bill and they both have more yellowish feeth, the males are deeper coloured than the normal, i've included a picture from a korean pair, this is a wild mutation,

Hes right about the wild mutation part. These are what I had several of for many years(probably old pics on here somewhere even) they came out of one female I had. I banded them as young birds. The main reason I tried to sell these first was when molt came it was hard to tell the difference.Thank God for banding. You woundnt believe how when people would come by to get some of these pairs and say you got two males for me and I would have to tell them bring em back if they dont lay. None came back Note; only a dozen or so of these females. Also had one boy manderin I would call an apricot if Im naming any coloration. Surely could have been more since I only went off adult coloring on the females bill and as peacock noted the boys look normal colored, I guess they get called Koreans because that is where they were first discovered. I just called em red billed females. I dont see how a color chart would help. Sorry as the more variants become widespread it will get more like domestic ducks are now. Alot of mutts and that color chart is gonna be a long one.

Also of note there is also a white throated variety ofmanderins here in the USA although I cant remember off the top of my head who has em.

Gold-coloured mandarin, it at the moment working name. At the moment, I only have splits. I assume that ducks will be brightly buff colour. Something in between blond mutation and apricot mutation.

We were at the Exotic auction in Mt Hope Ohio about a month ago and they had a pair of the White-throated Mandarins go through the auction there so they are here in the states.
