Mandarin ducks

I'm getting mandarin ducks next week I keep pheasant peacocks chickens ducks ect but is there anything special that mandarin ducks need.

Also i was wondering can they be kept with chickens or do they take disease and die like most game birds many thanks Oisin

And also can they do well in the cold

i too was thinking of getting a pair. from what I've read they like to go in trees like a wood duck. plus you probably need a lager water source for them to swim in. my 2 cents.

Yeah I know that the birds will only be in the barn for a few days as it's very cold and wet outside I just want to know if the chickens will kill them from diease's but thank u any way I've a great big pond ready for them
