Mandarins

What would cause a female Mandarin to throw her eggs out of the duck nest box? She started out with nine and threw out seven. Are there any hormones I can feed her to get her to lay more?

I don't believe there are any hormones you could or should give your bird to try to increase broodiness. I have no experience with ducks or broodies so I really don't know what is going on with her. I just dropped in to say "welcome" and I hope you enjoy your time here.

WELCOME! Silly bird. Someone will show up with some ideas as to the possible why. I am thinking though, that you shouldn't give her anything.

Usually they will toss them if they are bad. But 7 seems like a lot
