Mangled Wattle

One of my roosters, stripey was fighting 2 days ago and got a small cut in his wattle a few days ago, which led to some bleeding.
I cleaned away the blood and applied some corn powder to stop the bleeding, which worked very quickly.
However, today i noticed that wattle looked very odd, and i don’t know if its serious, or what i should do.
Any educated advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have never seen this before, but I wonder if the injured wattle is developing scar tissue. Here is an older thread with both wattles that have shriveled, and several people responded:
