Many People Do Not Know Why There is a Rooster on the Kellogg's Corn Flakes Box

Do your chickens stop laying in the Winter, in GA? Mine stop in the summer, if it gets cold enough or cloudy enough. It doesn't seem to be only light. Cold temps and they stop for a day or two. High temps and same thing, but only if it's hot at night. It can be hot all day and they lay like anything, as long as the temps still drop into the 40s-50s at night.

Here where I live in Texas it does not get down in the 50s from about May to October. I guess your chickens would not lay very well in Texas. :)

You're right many people dont know why. It was due to a chance meeting between Kellogg and a Welsh harpist (Nansi Richards possibly) who told Kellogg that his name was very similar to the Welsh word for rooster which is Ceiliog (c is always said like a k in Welsh). So now you know, nothing to do with what chickens eat or waking up. Also Easter is just ahijacked and revamped Celtic festival (like Christmas) celebrating rebirth (but of life not Jesus) hence the eggs and rabbits

I was going to say, I must have defective roosters because they crow every hour of the day.

... did you mean it ?... Chocolate milk doesn't come from brown cows?

My cousin who's parents had a milk cow wanted a brown one because the neighbors did and the kids in that house had chocolate milk.

Do they still make that flavor? Because the stores up here stopped stocking them, only the plain and the honey nut ones now. I miss the vanilla almond flavor. Made a great snack!

Never saw the crave variety but there is a special K that has honey oat in it I think or it's honey almond can't remember.... My mom loves the strawberry (red berries they call it) in the special k line but will eat the other varieties if cheaper or out of her variety at the store.
