Maple's kitten adventures...

My kitty does this thing called "flat cat" whenever she doesn't want to go somewhere. She just falls over wherever she is and lays there, refusing to move. Makes it a bit difficult to pick her up...

The FatBoy does that! Flat on his FatBelly! But as soon as you remove your hand, POOF! He's under, behind, anywhere where you can't reach him.

Keep the transport kennels in another room as well. He sees it, He's gone!!. I can't fit him in a carrier anymore. He has a bag. Basicly a supersize pillow case that I made to stuff bits and peices of quilt batting. I put him in the bag, tie it shut and set him on the floorboards of the truck. He's safe secure. My vet doesn't even, "Let the cat out of the bag" He's so happy in there that she does all of his exam and shots while he is in it, lol. Right now he is laying next to "Dad" in bed, but as soon as I open the 'tater bin and get the "Temptation" treats out, he's the first one there.

That right there is a funny picture to envision. A fat cat in a bag!

Maple, those kittens are adorable! Love the pic of the hamster sniffing the kitten= "What the heck is THIS? It doesn't smell like hamster..."

mwha ha ha ha.... I am bringing in chicken and ducks to my daughters preschool class on wed. to talk about "farm" animals. And I'm bringing the digital camera with baby kitty pics to show the preschool teacher who seems like she may be interested in adopting mama's baby boy. yay!!!

So when are kittys ready to adopt out? How old should they be?

The cats enjoy watching Chester Copperpot waddle on his wheel but they REALLY like the dwarf hamster, Half pint, since she's so much more lively in her cage then slow pokey Chester....that and she looks more mousy.

Which reminds me... WHO left the chewed on mousy head and mousy butt in the dog run area???
