I would like to know what is a ”huastec”

There is tree kind of Mapuche Chicken

Collonca ( without rump)
Ketro (with earring)
Criolla.
All of them lays blue eggs.
Recently I got some hatching eggs from a Collonca han and Ketro rooster. (It is not possible to get hatching eggs from a collonca couple due to the inability to copulate.
I’ll let you know if I have good hatching results.

Hi, I am interested in breeding the Collonca chicken. It seems that everyone who has some of them loves them. I am also interested in the blue egg possibility. If anyone has hatching eggs or info about someone who does that would be much appreciated.

I do not remember getting that message. However, I was able to get two pairs from Kermit last fall, my roosters have done their job and the early hatches are now maturing - mostly cockerels!. I would consider sharing one of my hens from previous hatchings with one of the new roosters, perhaps even two pairs - 2 brother cockerels and two sisters I had before the new birds were introduced.
