Maran chicks from Privett Hatchery- has anyone ever bought any? Pics?

I am wondering what my hens and roo will grow up to look like... Anyone have any pictures of theirs?

Theyre listed as "maran" on the site- not cuckoo.

I don't have mine yet. I have to wait until May to get them. I'm ordering them through my feed store (I only want 2) and he said they were told May because the hatchery is sold out and needs time to catch up on orders.

I hope they lay the dark eggs like the kids want. I have 11 RIR (6wks now) and 2 EE's (2 days old) from Privet and they are all healthy. I was only going to get 10 RIR but I just couldn't leave one by herself and I just got my EE's.

Along with the marans we also have 2 dominiques and 2 silver lakenvelders on order.

Yeah they'll lay the dark eggs for sure.. I have welsummers too. It should be fun!
