Maran hen or roo

I have the most beautiful 5 week old baby bird ever. Such personality if another baby seems in trouble he/she comes running over to help. I'm thinking roo but the comb hasn't grown and he she has a ton of feathers what y'all think?

I would guess roo but 5 weeks is very young yet. Maybe try agAin in a few weeks to be certain

I'm thinking roo too and that's ok because I got an incubator for Christmas!

If I got an incubator id be in trouble....absolute trouble. I'm sure it would never get unplugged and I'd have to skip mortgage payments for feed

Holy balls I'm jealous. I'd come take some off your hands if we were close. I'd like 4 more that's put me up to a dozen

Oh I'm just getting started lol! I'm going to add some new breeds, Swedish flower hens, more Marans and Ayam cemani I think
