Maran X Ameracauna and/or Cochin

Has anyone here crossed Cuckoo Marans with Ameracauna or Buff cochins? I'm just wondering as i have some and am kicking the idea around.Would they be good for meat eggs,both?

I have crossed a Barred Rock with Blue/Black/Splash Ameraucanas. Gives you Barred Easter Eggers like my Riley.

Not sure on Cuckoo Marans, but people cross Black Copper Marans and Ameraucanas or Easter Eggers all the time - The offspring are great for laying olive-green colored eggs.

thanks I think this will be a good cross for nest seasons hens.At the boys,,,,, well they have a special place too MY FREEZER!
