Marans - are these wheatens actually black tailed buff

These two were advertised as wheaten Marans, are they actually black tailed buff or a mixed mess? They are the first chicks from the breeding group she purchased.
I included a group photo of the offspring and the parents.
Im not fussed either way as I can throw them in my olive egger pen, but any thoughts I can pass on to the breeder

Wheaten can be variable. Some darker, some lighter. I think you just have some darker genes with these, probably from the father.

The birds in the last three pictures, if they are the parents, are definitely right for wheaten Marans.
