Hello everyone, I have a 5 months old maran cockerel that have a problem on an eye and it's breathing in a strange way, it make a strange sound. It was with other 3 marans hens/sister and other hybrid layers, now I have put it alone. The other hens looks healthy, the only thing is that sometimes I heard them sneezing, especially when they are eating. I don’t know if it’s normal or it can be a problem.
What I can do with the cockerel, it can be a serious problem, it may be infectious?

It's natural for the hens to sneeze a bit when they're eating as dust can fly up. But the breathing and eye problems would worry me.
Do you have a photo of the eye?
What's the temperature where you are?
They gasp to cool down. But it could also be something else.

I can make a picture of the eye tomorrow, the temperature are around 58 F at night and 80 F during the day when it’s sunny. Lately the weather have been a rainy. More than a week of rain and the temperature have been cooling down.

What are you seeing in the eye? Watery eye, bubbles or foam, crusty drainage or pus? Is there any swelling of the eyelid? Any of those can be signs of a respiratory disease. Mycoplasma (MG) is a common one. Does the noise sound like crackles, gurgles, or wheezing? If you have a video of the rooster making the noise, can you post it to YouTube or Vimeo with a link here?

Sounds like they have a cold virus of which there are many varieties they sneeze with a funny noise and can have a discharge coming out there nose there eyes often look like soapy bubbles. There is no antibiotics that will cure a virus but i recommend you get some Oxymav 100 from your vet and put this in there water for around 2 weeks this is an antibiotic but will stop secondary infection which can occur, being a virus it is contagious and some chooks never really get over it and often continue to sneeze most will fully recover. Treat all birds on your property and you should not eat the eggs for 10 days after you finish treatment just cook them up usually as scrambles eggs and feed them back to your chooks and they will love you for it. These viruses can be transferred from wild birds or hens brought in, always isolate newly purchased birds for 2 weeks to stop disease spread good luck

Looks like conjunctivitis (pinkeye) and a respiratory infection, likely mycoplasma gallisepticum or MG, a bacteria-like chronic respiratory disease that might be treated with Tylosin, doxycycline, oxytetracycline, or Denagard. You may find one of those from a vet or sometimes online for pigeons. Enrofloxacin may also be used, but is banned in chickens, although still used by some vets. Testing would confirm MG or help to identify the disease. Here is some reading about MG:
