Marans Egg?

So we got a new egg today (I can tell by it’s size). It has to be from one of our FBCM however I’m questioning the color. I think I expected it to be a touch darker. Our girl Gamora laid this egg (I think) and she’s not even 5 months old. I have 2 other girls her age but 1 is an OE so I know it’s not her. If it is the FBCM, is that the darkest the color will be or could it get darker? This is her very first egg.

There’s wide spectrum of egg shade for the the Black Copper Marans, depends on the breed strain, some of mine lays lighter color some are pretty dark. They normally lays the darkest on their first clutch then gets lighter toward the end.
