Hi Pink!! It's the season for the dreaded Cluster Headaches. Had three the other night, and only got 2 hours of sleep, so not been doing too much the last couple of days. Feel much better today!

Debbi glad you are feeling better. I get bad migraines sometimes too. It sucks!

Anyone else have a Orp x a Marans cross (split blk/lav Orp hen x BCM roo)? This was kinda an oops from early summer I knew it happened and wasn't gonna let her set on the egg but I was doing olive eggers at the same time and that hen wanted that egg so bad so I let her have it LOL. The hen is in the layer pen so there will be no mix ups later and I can easily tell her apart from the others but I could see how this cross could be mistaken for a pure BCM. She just laid her first egg today and UMMM it looks like a #4 BCM egg that is very speckled! Nothing like an orp egg! So people doing this cross please beware lol!
