hi , birds look great and i see them as

also the comb are hard to tell because one of my hens has a tall comb
and im sure it carried to there daughters
we call the tall comb hen 'queen',,,,,lol
but she never answers

I must say even though Wheatens are not my thing.............THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL BIRDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My closest friend has one that was hatched from eggs she purchased last summer off Ebay, she is a gorgeous bird and lays a VERY nice egg. I can see why you guys fancy these beauties.

Ok, I have had a bit of a shocker. I have a new pullet that is starting to lay. She has maybe given me 7 eggs in the past week and a half. They have been nice and dark, but small. That is to be expected because she is so young and small herself. But, I could believe what she left for me this weekend. I didnt know if I should laugh or cry.

I found no blood, she acts normal but it was the size of an APPLE!

I know this happends, but dang what a shocker! I would expect it more from an older hen that has some size to her. But this girl is so young!

60 acres those are beautiful eggs! And I think I would be doing both, laughing and crying. Poor girl... let us know when she lays again, I would like to know she is ok!
