You have to lose a good roo to gain that wisdom... I should have carried two....I have never yet been able to better my first roo... (very sad).... Those look alot like the one I lost... Really rich color and no yellowing. If we were closer I would babysit one of them for ya..

And her packaging... Wow.. She is a great shipper!! This is the best wrapped eggs I have ever gotten... all in perfect condition.

Awe it was many seasons ago... I am over it now... but he was a good looking Bev Davis bird!! Thanks for the sympathy... your nice.
 
If you are referring to the white feathering.... Yep that is likely to change... The color will most likely run down the quill to the tip... It isn't a culling point until after the first molt I am told. I have also heard it said that white feathers are initially a mark of good breeding.. How true this is.. idk
 
I finally get to be a Marans owner!! I have 4 CM and 3 BCM hatched so far. Also have more that have piped just awaiting the zip to make it official
